It feels surreal to have started my journey in the beauty world with a blog, and now I am writing blog posts for my own brand. It’s truly a full-circle moment, and I am exceptionally thankful to have you here.
In my almost 14 years as a beauty writer and creator, I’ve had the opportunity to test and review thousands of products, with only a small fraction of them ever making them into my content. This is for two reasons: (1) I have to authentically trial a formula so I can form an opinion based on actual experience and that takes time and, (2) I only write about and share what I like in a deep and exceptional way.
All this to say, in my extensive interplay with products, I’ve been able to identify what I wish existed and—in the case of Académie Hair—I decided to create it.
Sea Glass does everything I ever hoped a hair product of this nature could do and more; I’ve used it daily on my own hair for more than two years while taking every step necessary to bring this brand to life. I started from scratch, worked through this laborious process on God’s timetable and now I am elated to be able to officially introduce it to the world! This is just the beginning and I can’t wait to show you what is coming up next.
